looking after your jewellery

Our jewellery is of a high quality and crafted from stainless steel, 14k/18k gold plating or sterling silver making it hypoallergenic and resistant to tarnishing. There are factors with gold plated jewellery that can influence the condition of jewellery and ensuring it is properly cleaned, polished and stored will extend its longevity.

 Avoid: We recommend removing your jewellery when sleeping, showering/bathing, swimming or exercising.

Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams where they might come into direct contact with your jewellery.  Put your jewellery on after you have applied perfume and lotions.

Storage: To protect your jewellery, pieces should be individually placed in pouches or within a soft lined box to stop them being scratched or tangled. Ideally, store your jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place and try to keep pieces separate, so that they don't rub together or tangle up.

Daily wear: It is quite normal for jewellery to gain some scratches when worn regularly. This can be minimised by rotating the jewellery pieces that you wear.  Even sass needs a break sometimes!

Cleaning Your Plated Jewellery

Plated jewellery should be cleaned periodically. We send jewellery cleaning cloths with our orders, which can be used to clean your jewellery pieces.  Please be gentle and don’t rub your jewellery too hard, a gentle wipe is all that will be needed to keep it looking shiny and gorgeous.
